Matric intervention at the Winter Fair

2018-06-27 06:02

Are you a matric pupil struggling with maths and physical science and unsure of what career path to choose?

Have you filled in a Central Applications Office (CAO) form (electronically) for admission to any tertiary institution in KwaZulu-Natal?

Are you having problems with funding?

If these are questions that you need answers to then the Winter Fair Edufair is the place to be.

You will be motivated for your final examinations by Dr Devan Singh (Chief Educational Specialist: Planning – iLembe District).

You will also be given the chance to interact with specialists in mathematics Bhekani Zulu, (subject advisor for Mathematics from the Umgungundlovu District) and Mr Dube (senior physical science teacher, principal of Tugela Secondary school and PROTEC tutor for 20 years) at 12 pm.

Additionally you will receive advice from UKZN on careers and applications. Get your CAO forms filled electronically from 2:40 pm while finding out about student funding from the non-governmental organisation, Yethu.

Pupils are encouraged to attend the special sessions for secondary schools on Friday June 29 at the Winter Fair, commencing at 9.30 am.
