Speaking at the memorial service of the slain crime fighter Kaunda said that they will honour Mthethwa by accelerating the process of intensifying awareness against crime.

“The community should work hand in hand with the police so that the perpetrators are brought book,” Kaunda added.

Mthethwa was well known in the community and has served the Maphumulo CPF for a long time and was recently elected chairperson.
The motive for the killing is not yet known, but Mthethwa was known for his fight against crime.
