THE Neelan’s Auto League got underway last Wednesday at the Quartz Sports Bar.
Neelan’s B made a clean sweep against their A team.
The Neelan’s B team players Charlie Pillay, Kyle Pillay, Vasa Rungasamy and Yogan Pillay made it clear to their opponents that the night belonged to them.
Neelan’s B won the first team game (1001) to lead the score 1-0.

Neelan’s A put up a hard fight and levelled the scores in the second set to bring the scoreline to 1-1.
In the third game Neelan’s B put up some top tallies and claimed the third set to stay in a 2-1 lead.
In the doubles game (701) Charlie and Kyle beat Justin Naidoo and Julian to take the scoreline to 3-1.
The second game saw Vasa and Yogan put up a top performance and demolished Naven and Jodie Naidoo to take the scores to 4-1 in favour to Neelan’s B.
With four singles match (501) to go Neelan’s A had to win all four games if they wanted to claim victory on the night.
In the opening singles game Charlie beat Justin to extend the lead to 5-1.
Kyle and Vasa beat Julian and Naven to take the scoreline to 6-1.
Jodie put some smiles on his fellow teammates’ faces with a convincing win against Yogan and end the scores with a 7-2 finish in favour of Neelan’s B.

In other games Sundowner Darts Club put up a five star performance and dismissed Strini Motors with a 8-1 victory and Darnall United beat Nevil’s Auto 6-3 to stay in contention to the league title.
Tonight the two giants go head to head, Darnall United and Sundowner do battle for the poll position, while Neelan’s B take on Strini Motors and Nevil’s Auto take on Neelan’s A.
