Saints Church to open learning centre

SAINTS Church Stanger will officially open Logos Learning Centre Monday, February 5.

Logos Learning Centre is an after school venue operating from 2 to 5pm.
At Logos pupils can do their home work under adult supervision. There will be teachers for certain subjects from Grades 6 to 12 who will assist pupils with difficulties.

Should any pupil require counsel, this will also be provided. Logos also has free WiFi and currently six desktop computers for those who require internet access.

Pupils are also welcome to bring along their own electronic device for internet use.

For the comfort of the pupils the premises is fully air-conditioned.

There will also be a coffee shop in operation for those who wish to purchase light refreshments.

A code of conduct will also be in place for those pupils who wish to be part of the centre.

On Friday, February 2 at 5pm a special meeting will be held for all parents at the centre, 174 Hulett Street, Stanger CBD. All parents are welcome.

The following subjects will be available:

Monday’s - Grades 6-9 English, Mrs Peters, Mr R.A. Moodley

Tuesdays - Grades 6-9 Afrikaans, Mr N.G. Pillay, Mrs Perumal

Wednesday - Grades 6-9 Maths, Mr I. Abraham

Thursday - Grade 12 Maths, Mr R Ramkilawan

Saturday - Music, Mr Paul Williams

Saturday - Afrikaans, Mr N Van Wyk

Sunday - Adult Biblical Studies (3-5pm)

Also note that pupils can attend after school (2-5pm) to do their homework under adult supervision.
