SIPHIWE Rose Thobela (28), from Thembeni, KwaDukuza, was last seen at Durban North on 13 August while hitchhiking to KwaDukuza.

Her niece, Melody Bruijn, says she was wearing a long black tube dress and black flat shoes.

Bruijn described Thobela as a “chubby person” with black twist braids, dark brown eyes, and has pierced ears, scars on her elbow, arm and leg.

She said she is 1.5 metres tall and weighs an estimated 65 kilograms.

“She is a mother of two boys aged 12 and 5,” Bruijn said.

The SAPS are pleading with anyone who might have information on her whereabouts to please contact the Durban North SAPS on 031 560 8004/8009 or detective Nundlall on 072 214 7439 or 071 137 8713.
