Singh’s Fireworks smash Dhan’s Auto in Team Trebles

THE KwaDukuza Darts Association (KDDA) hosted a Team Trebles Knockout last Wednesday at the Quartz Sportsbar in Stanger Manor.

The games were played on a round robin system with six teams challenging for the title.

The top half of the draw saw Darnall United 1, Quartz Dart Club and Dhan’s Auto 2, challenge one another.

The bottom half saw Dhan’s Auto 1, Singh’s Fireworks and Darnall United 2, go to battle.

In the top half, Darnall United 1 emerged victorious while in the bottom half, Dhan’s Auto 1 won the group.

Darnall United had to take on Singh’s in the semi-finals and Singh’s beat Darnall United 2-1 to advance to the finals.

Dhan’s Auto 1 beat Quartz Darts Club 2-0 to meet Singh’s in the final. The final was one-way traffic for Singh’s Fireworks as they beat Dhan’s Auto 2-0 to claim the Team Trebles Knockout title.

Meanwhile, the Jerry Govender singles were played on Monday night and Vinesh Geanbally beat Julian Munisamy 2-0 to claim the Govender singles title. KDDA thanked Quartz management Pravesh Harryprasadh for the newly designed darts arena. KDDA tournament director Nine Pillay also thanked the Quartz management for an outstanding new look to the venue.

Tonight (Wednesday) the association will host the Late Dilley Puckree Singles Tournament.
