THE new year brings new adventures, and more importantly, the social causes that the Smurfs Hiking Club readily adopts.

Having recently ventured into the remote Eastern Cape with the help of sponsors, the mountain-climbing club donated some much-needed aid to the Mawotsheni Community Project in the village of Mapuzi.

The club wishes to thank all sponsors, the management of Sugarloaf Backpackers, Principal Z. Mtyana and Ms Nonchaa (teacher), in assisting the Charity in the Sky project.
