SUNDOWNER Darts Club won the Trophy Engravers League in a nail-biting finish.
The Trophy Engravers League was an open game to witness between Sundowner Darts Club and Kwafel Darts Club.
The Sundowner team of Darrel Shanmagum, Paddy Padayachee, Len Naidoo, Neeran Somnath, Terrence Subban, Ashley Harripersadh, Terrence Pillay and Vigen Murugan made no mistake on the night in winning 23-13 to secure top spot and clinch the title.
Kwafel who were tournament favourites could not captilise on the night and had to settle for the runner up spot. The points were even 6-6 but Sundowner won the league on a higher aggregate.
Neelan's Auto Gledhow took a 36 points win as a walkover against Darnall Young Boys who could not make the tally and thus settle for the third spot.
Today (Wednesday) a mixed doubles tournament will be played at the Quartz sponsored by Ajen Singh and family. KDDA would like to thank Trophy Engravers for their year to year sponsorship.
