SOME of the biggest names in South African comedy will come together for the inaugural Durban Laugh Festival taking place at the Sibaya iZulu Theatre 28-30 October.
The hilarious star-studded line-up features comic heavyweights Marc Lottering, Joey Rasdien, Yaaseen Barnes, Dalin Oliver, Neville Pillay and more.
The three-day festival of funny is an unmissable event that is sure to have audience members rolling in the aisles with laughter. One of the highlights of the festival is sure to be Marc Lottering who has been thrilling comedy lovers for years with his hilarious tales from the Cape Flats, touring locally and abroad with hit productions like “From the Cape Flats with Love” and “Hashtag Lottering”. Another featured legend is the ever popular Joey Rasdien who is widely regarded as one of the greatest comic talents the country has ever produced.
Two-time Comics Choice Awards winner Yaaseen Barnes will make a rare and highly anticipated appearance in Durban.
Expect to give your brain a good workout and have your funny bones tickled by the wise cracking Barnes.
Joining Barnes from Cape Town is Dalin Oliver, a phenomenal performer who has enjoyed huge success at festivals around the country including multiple sold out runs of his one man show.
Locals Neville Pillay and Masood Boomgaard will be key members of the festivals Durban-based contingent.
There will also be appearances by a number of up and coming Durban comics.

The Durban Laugh Festival takes place on 28 and 29 October at 8pm and 30 October 3pm.
Tickets are R120 and R150 and are available from Computicket, Checkers and Sibaya Box Office.
