The U N L Fresh Produce League got underway on Wednesday at the Quartz Conference Centre. Neelan's Auto B who lost to their A team a fort-night ago made amends to bring the Darnall United lads down to their knees with a 10-6 victory. Vasa Rungasamy started the opening game like a house on fire beating Vinesh Geanbally. Jerry Govender beat Kyle Pillay to level the scores 1-1. Charlie Pillay beat Preollen Muthoosamy to make the score line 2-1. Nine Pillay beat Yogan Pillay to level the scores once more 2-2. The second frame saw Yogan Pillay beat Vinesh and make the scores 3-2.Charlie beat Jerry to make the score chase even harder for the Darnall lads who trial 4-2. Nine Pillay put some smiles in the Darnall team after beating Kyle to bring the tally to 4-3. With the fourth game to go, Rungasamy trounced Muthoosamy and made the score line 5-3. In the 3rd frame Charlie beat Geanbally who was yet to get a point on the board as the scores were 6-3. Yogan Pillay accounted for Jerry and made it difficult for the Darnall boys to chase the scores 7-3. With two games to go in the frame Nine and Preollen beat Vasa and Kyle to bring the scoreline to 7-5. With the last frame to go, Geanbally snatched a win against Kyle to bring the scores to 7-6. The Neelan's Auto team made a clean sweep and won the next three games to seal the victory and won 10-6 on the night. In other games, Neealan's A team beat Strini Motors 11-5 to keep themselves at the summit of the log, while Sundowner Dart Club received a walkover as the Nevil's Auto team failed to pitch.
