THE Stanger Hospital physiotherapy department hosted a healthy lifestyle fitness walk for staff members on Friday to commemorate World Physiotherapy Day and National Back Week.

The event highlights the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) slogan, “Movement for health” and “Physical activity for life”.

The physiotherapy department thanked their sponsors — Total Sports, Ostrinex, Padaychee Brothers, Aquelle, Pak Plastics, Stanger SuperSpar, Trevor Srinivasen from Cordilite CC, Singh’s Mutton Market and Ravi Velan.

They also thanked the South African Society of Physiotherapy, IMF support team and Gym, Aslam Mahomed from Stanger Hospital Café, Dr Mynt (Stanger Hospital), Stanger Sweet Wholesalers, Taslima Mather, D & H Garden & Cleaning Services and Adhil Khan Family Trust.
