?WARRIORS Sport defeated Manor B by a whopping 98 runs in a T20 League match played at the Country Club grounds under overcast conditions on Saturday.

Warriors Sport won the toss and skipper Rishen Mathapershad chose to bat first.

Opener Rayven Moodley got off to a great start before he was caught for 13 runs in the third over, after hitting a massive six.

Justin Govender then took over the reigns and together with Amin Galli, put on a partnership of 65 runs before Amin was bowled out by Dicky van Zyl for 23 runs leaving the team tally at 75.

Someshan Naicker stepped in and together with Justin put on a 44 run partnership before man of the match Justin was caught for 47 runs (including six 4s) in the 13th over.

Someshan (21) and Suhail Younus (18 including a six) helped Warriors end the innings on 164/6.
Irshaad Moolla of Manor claimed 2/25/3 and sibling Bilal Moolla claimed 1/21/4.
In reply, Manor were all at sea as the Warriors attack continued relentlessly. Manor were all out for 66 in the 14th over.
Bilal (29 including three 4’s) was the only batsman with double digit scores and hung on till the 12th over before he was caught by wicket keeper Someshan in the famous “Faf” style.
Warriors pick of the bowlers were S Ali who claimed 2/4 from 2 overs and Ash Balchand 2/8 from 2 overs.
Manager Rajiv Mathapershad was proud of the teams all round performance,in the absence of some key players.
