Law Enforcement officers embarked on an undercover operation in Dunoon to catch men who were allegedly smashing car windows along Potsdam Road.

Law Enforcement spokesperson, Wayne Dyason, says on Friday (10 February) they received a call about men smashing the windows of motorists and robbing them.

He says officers opted to change into civilian clothing in an attempt to catch the men red-handed and their plan paid off when they caught a 23-year-old suspect from Dunoon.

"At about 10:15 a 23-year-old man from Dunoon was arrested and taken to Milnerton Police Station where he was charged," he says.
