‘Abantsundu’ Despatch invited to meeting

2015-10-01 06:00

Having dealt with many challenges and complaints relating to the livelihood in Despatch, a group of residents decided to convene a meeting with the aim to inform residents regarding good neighbourliness and unity.

“This is an effort to form a unity in Despatch. Therefore we wish to have an “Abahlali BaseDespatch town Abantsundu” meeting and invite all our people to attend the meeting to enhance hegemony,” said Sandile Adam, a Despatch resident and convenor of the meeting.

“We have invited and spoken to our new station commander at the Despatch police station as well as to other stakeholders to come and address and enlighten us regarding the town.

“We will also be informed by SAPS regarding their strategies to curb crime related matters happening in our area,” said Adam.

The meeting will be held at the town hall on Wednesday, October 7th at 18:00. For more details regarding the meeting contact Sandile Adam on 073 043 5394
