In an endeavour to continually promote academic excellence and foster a healthy attitude towards hard word, Muir College has started with a new motivational venture.

The school will from now on each term announce the names of the learners who ranked in the top ten of their respective grades. These learners then enjoy the privilege of wearing a “Top Ten” badge for the duration of that term.

Ranking in the top three positions in each grade are the following learners: Grade 12: Sean Burger, Vuyolwethu Kwindla (Headboy), Glen Rwodzi. Grade 11: Faees Elie, Trent Burness, Moosa Ebrahim. Grade 10: Lilitha Hempe, Lukhanyo Lukuzo, Athenkosi Hlonyane. Grade 9: Ruane Nel, Macneal Swartz, Yivani Mantshongo. Grade 8: Hashil Karsan, Lyden Human, Richard Niemand.

The principal at Muir College, Bun Hopley, congratulated these learners and encouraged all to keep up with the hard work
