New eatery in a vintage milieu

2015-08-27 06:01

Light meals served in a tranquil vintage milieu amid life passing by in busy Graaff Reinet Road, is what awaits guests at Shed 39 which will officially open on Saturday, August 22nd.

This eatery is situated in one of Uitenhage’s earliest corrugated buildings. Supporting the Go Green initiative, the venue with its oregon pine floors, interior and cosy stoep as well as shady courtyard all contribute to the eatery’s tranquillity.

Shed 39 is the latest venture of Brenda, owner of the former Vintage Lane, who joined her business skills with Ronald and Aubrey, known for operating the Pepper Tree in Cuyler Street.

Their talents incorporated, will let Shed 39 offer services like: light meals in a stylish decorated venue with a home-away-from-home atmosphere. It is an ideal venue for private functions, small conferences, or a business hub for informal meetings. Sunday sit down lunches (3 course meals) will also be served. Bookings for Sunday lunches are essential.

The venue can accommodate up to 30 guests and it offers ample and safe parking at the back of the eatery.

On Saturday they will officially open their doors with the smell of a healthy breakfast and continue serving meals until after sunset.

Shed 39 business hours: Tuesdays to Saturdays 09:00-15:00 and 18:00-21:00; Sundays 11:00-15:00. Mondays - Closed.
