‘Pink Drive’ fun walk held in town

A Prink Drive 5km fun walk in support of the Cancer Association of South Africa and specifically breast cancer awareness, will be held on Saturday in the central business district of Uitenhage.

The event is organised by Lynn Liberty, a Mrs Commonwealth SA finalist as part of her community involvement projects. Action starts at 08:00 at the Uitenhage Town Hall on Market Square. It will proceed down Durban Street, then right into Cuyler Street, Victoria Street, turn right into Cannon Street, down Park Lane and Caledon Street and back to Market Square.

The entry fee is R20 per person and entry forms are available from Sensational Hair, 5 Van der Riet Street. Cupcakes will be sold at R30 per box and orders can be placed by phoning 041 966 5001
