The late Hemantkumar Gajjar, a former well known Uitenhage businessman who was associated with Orient Bazaar, was always prepared to make donations to the Uitenhage Lions Club in support of the disadvantaged in the community.

“With his recent passing away he requested us, as his family, to continue with his legacy of relieving suffering in the community,” said Rikesh Gajjar, one of his sons.

His family honoured their father’s wish and together with The Ministry donated meals to over 200 disadvantaged members of the community. In addition the Gajjars also ensured that the Uitenhage SPCA benefits by donating 300kg of food to the association.
