Choral and conductor workshop

2016-03-03 06:00

A choral and conductor’s workshop will be presented in Uitenhage by Michael Barrett from Tuks Camerata, in conjunction with ATKV Applous and Strelitzia High School.

The workshop will be held on 8th & 9th April, but the closing date to book your seat in attending the workshop is 15th March.

On the Friday it will be hands-on working with a choir by Barrett. Delegates will observe only, but the content will be directly linked to the next day’s presentation. Topics of discussion during the workshop include basic conducting skills, vocal health, how to inspire and motivate singers, where to buy choral music, African music, how to audition a singer and various other interesting aspects.

To confirm attendance (R500/person) contact Romey Aylward on 083 261 2709 or e-mail
