Christadelphians to host Easter concert

2018-03-29 06:01

One of the oldest and best-known gospel groups in the region, the Christadelphians, will present an Easter concert on Sunday, April 1st, marking the start of their performances towards their 50th anniversary next year.

The concert takes place in the Allanridge Civic Centre in Uitenhage at 19:00 with the theme: ”He is alive! Go and Tell”.

Family, friends and supporters can be assured of high quality singing.

There will also be guest appearances by former Christadelphians members such as Jan Fortuin, Neville Davids, George Fidaai Jaggers, Raymond Isaacs, James Arnolds, Colin Arries, Pat Uithaler and Arthur Roman.

They will team up with current members, Danny Jacobs and Cecil Arnolds, to render crowd favourite songs.

This historic evening will be video-recorded and deceased members, such as Andrew Petrus (Laloe), Richard Ressouw, Joey Malgas, Piper Martin Goliath and Harold Malgas will be honoured at the show.

The 50th anniversary celebrations will be held next year during Easter weekend and all former Christadelphians will be invited to participate in this momentous event.
