Community assistance sought by Despatch police

Detectives in Despatch are seeking the assistance of the community to help identify the suspects and locate the next-of-kin of an unknown male whose body was discovered at about 10:20 on Monday, 29 January 2018.

The body of the unidentified male was found with a bullet wound to the head, in the bushes opposite the M19 Road, Despatch. The male was between 20 and 40-years old and about 1,50 m tall. He was wearing blue pants, a red sweater, black tekkies and a blue cap. He had no identification in his possession.

SAPS Despatch are investigating a case of murder and anyone who might be able to assist with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect/s or who can assist with the identification of the deceased or tracing his next-of-kin, are requested to contact the investigating officer, D/W/O Welile Sogaxa on 082 441 7828 or 041 933 8000.
