Cupcakes and boerewors rolls will be on the menu on Saturday, which happens to be National Braai Day!

This will be part of Cupcakes of Hope, an initiative to raise funds through selling these sweet treats - baked by Cupcake Angels - will be held at Levyvale SuperSpar on Saturday.

“The response has been overwhelming! As of this morning (Monday) we have approximately 1 200 cupcakes,” said Deisre Cloete, organiser of the local Cupcakes of Hope event.

All the Cupcake Angels are thanked for their support. Now it is for all the sweet tooths and public please to support this worthy cause from 09:00 onwards.

“If this event is successful, we will officially be part of National Cupcake Day 2017.”

Saturday is also National Braai Day, so there also will be boerewors rolls to buy. All funds raised will be in aid of Cupcakes of Hope.
