Environmental community dialogue

2019-09-12 06:00

THE Human Settlement Action Group (NPC), in partnership with Ubutyebi Trust, is hosting an environmental dialogue on September 13 at the Khayamnandi Community Hall, Despatch.

Tracey Lancaster from the Human Settlement Action Group said she encourages the community to participate in the discussion in order to share their opinions.

“We would like to hear from the community if they have any environmental issues such as water leaks and illegal dumping,” she said.

The information gathering session which will start at 10:00 will focus on the opinions of the community on environmental problems as well as possible solutions to curb these issues. The dialogue will also encourage people interested in starting environmental projects to share their ideas at the session and possibly receive advice from the Human Settlement Action Group.
