Having been in the hiring and catering business for decades, owner Esme van der Merwe gives her clients peace of mind and they can rest assured as table settings will look fantastic with her quality catering equipment.

Displays of table settings and themes

Open days, showcasing various displays of all that they has to offer, will be held this Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00 at The Caledon Centre in Caledon Street. Future brides are welcome to come and discuss their perfect wedding with us. Esme took over the management of The Caledon venue which incorporates the guest house situated on the premises. They have it all from cutlery, crockery, glassware, tables, and chairs to linen. They also do catering and therefore know the tricks of the trade when it comes to table settings and proper menus which are critical to the success of any event.

Packages to suit your pocket and palate

They have various packages to match their clients’ pockets and palates. This can also include accommodation in the guest house.

Merlo Hire, for the past 31 years, has been a well-known name in the local catering and hiring industry. It was established by the late Hekkie Lötter and his daughter Esme continues with his legacy.
