Gospel group to present Valentine Show

2018-02-01 06:01

The Christadelphians gospel group from Uitenhage is back on stage to present its Valentine Show on February 10th in the Dale Street Hall, Gerald Smith.

The show promises to be a nostalgic one, as the hall is the venue in which the group started their singing career in the 1970s. This is also the first show on the group’s march towards their 50th birthday celebrations in 2019.

The theme of the show is God’s Steadfast Love. The group has performed in Jerusalem, Greece and Egypt during 2001, received a Legends Award by the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality and released 17 music albums and 6 DVDs.

Tickets at R40 (single) and R60 (double) are available at the door. “We are looking forward to singing love to our Valentine couples, so please come early to avoid disappointment”, says Cecil Arnolds, the group’s choirmaster.

  • The show will include novelty events, such as best-dressed couple, lucky draws and sale packages of CDs and DVDs. The show starts at 19:00.
