Group to support men becoming rolemodels

2016-10-27 06:00

A support group to empower men to become better husbands, fathers and men in society has been established in Uitenhage.

“Our society needs committed men that can lead. Too many neglect their responsibilities towards their families. Hence our youth turn to gangsterism, alcohol and drugs and there is an increase in teenager pregnancies,” said Christopher Terblanche, founder of the UTH Community Men Support Group.

“We sit around a fire, drink coffee and eat biltong and talk about our role in society.”

  • The group meets at different venues with a meeting tomorrow and thereafter every second Friday of the month. For more information contact Christopher at 074 800 5523 or
