Holiday fun at science centre

A holiday programme aiming to instil science, technology and maths knowledge in young ones will be held this holiday at the Uitenhage based Nelson Mandela Bay Science & Technology Centre.

According to Nomawethy Kama from the Centre, the programme will consist of various activities like Facts about Pressure, Sustaining Biosphere for Human Living and how to create your own maze through a computer programme. There will also be a maths workshop for the first hour.

The programme will run from 3 to 7 April 10:00-14:00 daily. All interested children between the ages of 6 and 14 years are invited to participate. The cost is R10 per child per day and booking is essential as a limited number of participants can be accommodated.
