Human Race event hosted in U’hage

2018-09-13 06:01

Uitenhage High School will host this year’s annual Human Race on September 22nd.

The iconic race, sponsored by Nelson Mandela University and the Centre for the Advancement of Non Racialism and Democracy (CANRAD) will take the form of a 5km fun run.

The activities of the Centre are centred on the shared understanding of the interdependence of research, advocacy, education, and intervention.

Being the progressive institution that it is, Uitenhage High School has been widely involved in constructing racial tolerance and understanding among its learners.

  • Entry forms for the race are available from Gary Hendricks (076 501 5590) and Peter John Radcliffe (084 730 5665) at Uitenhage High School.

The final date for entries is September 19th. Final registration will take place at Uitenhage High School on Saturday 22nd between 06:30 and 07:45.
