IN his 55th year in the music industry, South African guitar legend Joe Moses (71) from Uitenhage, has released a new CD featuring popular romantic and classic tunes.

As lead guitarist of the iconic The Invaders music group, which enjoyed one hit after another on the music charts during the 60s and 70s, Joe has travelled South Africa extensively as well as abroad to perform in the Netherlands, Germany and England.

He started playing guitar at the age of 13. Whilst still at school during 1965, he was “commanded” to join the popular The Invaders as lead guitarist. Some of the group’s famous tunes which were immediate hits were Shockwave as well as Ice Cream and Sucker.

Joe Moses is the only The Invaders member who still is active in the music industry, doing what he loves most, playing guitar.

Joe’s latest CD simply titled “Joe Moses - Romantic and Classic tunes” include old time favourites like Let it be from The Beatles and I Do from Richard Jon Smith.

Joe dedicated his new CD to all his supports, friend and family all over South Africa!

This year “uncle Joe” will also be 55 years in the music industry and this CD is special for all his supporters , friends and family all over South Africa.

Joe Moses still performs at special events and his latest CD is available from him.
