All the schools conducted themselves well both on and off the field of play.

Last weekend Muir College hosted the annual Cape Youth Cricket Festival for U/19s, also sponsored by KFC.

A number of well-known cricketers have participated in this festival in the past.

This year saw the festival growing to 10 teams, five from the Eastern Cape and five visiting teams from the Western Cape.

The festival showcased excellent cricketing talent over the three days.

The participating teams were Muir College, Alexander Road High School, Pearson, Graeme College and Grey College from the Eastern Cape, along with Bergvliet, Pinelands, Westerford, Milnerton and Somerset all from the Western Cape.
