Learners to be on-air as radio presenters

Five learners from schools in Uitenhage are part of today’s Youth Day Crew at Algoa FM.

They have been visiting the station twice a week for training. Some will be on-air serving as presenters, others as newsreaders and some will be behind the scenes as producers or new media coordinators.

The Uitenhage Youth Day Crew at Algoa FM are Kristen Green (Brandwag High School), Chris-Mari du Toit (Brandwag High School), Siphenathi Ngcoko (Strelitzia High School), Lisa-Marie Labercensie (Marymount High School) and Joshua du Pisanie (Muir College).
