PE Oval Track Raceway will be hosting the WOMZA Dirt Oval National Championships on Saturday.

The local drivers will be joined by competitors from Boshoff, Randfontein, Bloemfontein, Rustenburg and Newcastle. Legendary V8 circuit racer, Ben Morgenrood, will also be seen in action in the Modified V8 Class. A total of 23 cars have been entered in the V8 class and 25 in the popular 1660 four-cylinder class.

Entrance fee is R100/adult, R50/pensioners and R30/child (6-12 years). Racing starts at 17:00. Enquiries: 082 605 3455.
