Mrs Africa attends local beauty pageant

The current Mrs Africa World and versatile business woman Noni Agcobile Mbete who matriculated from Riebeek College Girls’ High in 2008 attended the crowning of her alma mater’s beauty queen.

Riebeek held its annual Miss Riebeek pageant with Mbete as one of the adjudicators. She was joined by Gail Brown the founder and owner of Sophisticate Models and Ebrahim Wicks from the Department of Higher Education. He has achieved many modelling titles.

Mbete is a senior business manager at a financial institution. She has an intense passion for women and children and founded The Resolute Women campaign which mentors and supplies under-privileged girls with matric dance dresses in order to give these girls the fairy tale experience they deserve.

After a wonderful evening of showcasing Riebeek beauties the winners were crowned.

Juniors: Abrenea Booysen (Miss Riebeek junior), Callan Elie (1st princess), Unako Ndigaye (2nd princess).

Teens: Aphelele Toyis (Miss Riebeek teen), Andisiwe Toyis (1st princess), Khiran Butt (2nd princess).

Seniors: Jamie-Lee Daniels (Miss Riebeek senior)

Chene Simon (1st princess), Malakhiwe Hoffman (2nd princess), Mia Muller (Miss Personality), Anovuyo Singeni (Miss Legs).
