The newly crowned Mrs Eastern Cape 2016, Linda Ntetha, hails from KwaNo-buhle, Uitenhage and has at heart to have people believe in the beauty of life again.

She is tall, beautiful, intelligent, married to a restaurateur, employed at VWSA’s human resources department, does voluntary work at LoveLife and will next year do her honours in psychology through Unisa.

“To have won this title is not all about a pretty face. The real beauty should be in what you have - during your reign from whatever competition you’ve won - changed to better the lives of those around you. You need to have a legacy,” said this 39 year old mother of three kids.

“I love Uitenhage. And I want to get involved in the whole of the community. I want to help change lives. I want to be remembered as a Mrs EC whose fellow residents from her town gave her their hands to walk into the future together bettering things,” said Linda, who early next year will enter the Mrs SA competition.

She loves an environment where there are people, especially the youth. Therefore her involvement at LoveLife centre in KwaNobuhle is something that she speaks passionately about.

“The day I walked through the doors of the LoveLife centre, I found something in me. I initially went there for an assignment, but now 4 years later, I just cant let go of it.

“Listening to them, whilst they go on and on and on, I see the beauty in them that they do not see.

“As a mentor and counsellor my experiences at LoveLife are far more rewarding than money and material things. When you hear someone saying to you, ‘you have no idea what you have meant to me’, simply fills my heart and fulfils my life.”

As Mrs EC, Linda Ntetha is more than willing to be invited as a guest or motivational speaker in attending functions not only in Uitenhage, but the Eastern Cape, the province she is proud of. She can be contacted at 061 394 2450
