Residents urged to meet and help bring change

2016-10-06 06:00

Residents from Ward 51 are invited to a meeting which will be held on Monday, October 10th, 19:00 at Uitenhage Indoor Sports Centre.

According to councillor Pieter Terblanche, the meeting is in preparation of the Nelson Mandela Bay’s 2016/2017 integrated development plan and budget. Therefore residents will be given the opportunity at the meeting, not only to raise their concerns, but also submit ideas or solutions to whatever they found needed to be addressed in their neighbourhood.

“We wish to complete the Ward 51 list for submission to the IDP regarding infrastructure issues. This is not only about potholes and water leaks, but also to submit ideas to improve our town and an opportunity to participate in the affairs of the municipality,” said Terblanche.

Residents are urged to participate in the public consultation meetings in order to improve development and service delivery in Nelson Mandela Bay.
