Rotary to award outstanding youth

The Rotary Club of Uitenhage is calling for nominations for its Youth Merit Award for outstanding achievements during 2017/2018.

This award is considered annually in respect of persons up to the age of 25 years, who have brought honour to the town of Uitenhage and the Eastern Cape. Achievements have to be on a national or international level in sport, performing or graphic arts, academic achievements, bravery, service to the community or any similar activity. Any person or organisation may nominate a person for this award.

Nomination forms can be obtained and handed in at the UD Express office at 73A Graaff Reinet Road or from Rotarian Abrie Jordaan at 30 De Jongh Drive, Uitenhage, 6230. Enquiries: 041 992 5896 or 083 373 8474.
