On Mandela Day, Schnellecke South Africa joined hands to make a difference in KwaNo-buhle’s Mpumelelo Children’s Day Care.
The Schnellecke Cares Team consisting of 50 employees travelled to Mpumelelo in taxis with paint, party packs, meat, toys, books and games. Each room of the house had a dedicated team who revamped the rooms to create a dedicated reading corner, baby room and activity room. In just two hours, every room in the house was repainted and redecorated while the children were entertained outside with soccer, face painting, games, wors rolls and party packs. While displaying all the Schnellecke Spirit values, the employees from Schnellecke South Africa went above and beyond to show that they care.
“Wow! We are so thankful for all the surprises and blessings that we received on this unforgettable day. The children are overwhelmed with happiness and we feel so blessed to have the support of Schnellecke,” said Valencia Sifuba, Founder of Mpumelelo.
- Mpumelelo Day Care, founded in 2009 is situated in a disadvantaged township area a few kilometres away from Schnellecke South Africa and focuses on child care for babies and children aged 6 months to 5 years.
