UITENHAGE High School recently hosted its 5th annual open golf day and as with previous years, it was another memorable event which everyone enjoyed thoroughly. The school would like to acknowledge the valued support of all its sponsors who made this event possible. Special mention and appreciation to all those businesses and individuals who were willing to sponsor a hole (R1 000).

In total more than 70 benefactors contributed in making it a memorable day for all of those in attendance. The winners of the competition were Eddie Geswindt (golfers), L. Arends (non-golfers) and M. Jantjies (juniors).

“The Uitenhage High Golf Day is one of the highlights on the school’s calendar, and we have already established that our next golf day will take place on 5 October 2019,” said Sheldon Vermaak, organiser of the event.

“We hereby urge all potential role players and sponsors to get on board as early as possible for next year’s event.”
