SINGER and songwriter Cecil D Stevens has released his latest single album which is available on Google Play, iTunes and You Tube for streaming.

Nowadays a Capetonian, but born and bred in Uitenhage, Stevens inherited his love for music from his father.

“I remember when I was just a small little boy, listening to my father singing together with ‘Oom Lukus’ and ‘Oom Solly’,” said Stevens.

He had been a member of several choirs and singing groups like Golden Voices, Uitenhage Community Choir and Simple Truth.

Stevens’ latest single album was produced by Ephron Scheep-ers with Sheer Music as the publisher and Godfrey Miggels as sound engineer.

The two songs on the album are titled Hy Lewe and Hold My Hand. Both songs were written by Stevens. -REPORTER
