SWIFTREPONSE Community Empowerment Initiative through Soccer, is a soccer initiative where goal scoring is secondary to empowering youths in formulating their life goals. It was established seven years ago by former professional soccer player Ade Adekunle.

The initiative recently held its annual awards evening, giving recognition to its achievers. The event was supported and sponsored by Mandela Bay Development Agency, Ely Oroductions and Galaxy Bingo. The Swiftresponse Friendship Tournament will be held later this month, on 23, 25 and 27 March at the Jubilee Park Sports Fields. – REPORTER
