SPCA kennels full - homes desperately needed

2016-03-10 06:00

The Uitenhage SPCA kennels currently are fully occupied with many gorgeous dogs, puppies, cats and kittens which all are desperately in need of loving homes.

Therefore an adoption day will be held on Sunday together with a jumble sale to raise funds for the association. There will be a wide selection of second hand goods as well as clothing, books, toys, linen, balls of good quality mohair wool for sale with lots of bric-a-brac available.

The kennels are situated in Schonland Street and the gates will be open on Sunday between 10:00 and 12:00. The public are urged rather to consider adopting than shopping. This will complete the rescue of so many of the cats and dogs which find themselves in the SPCA’s care, by offering them a loving home of their own.

The Uitenhage SPCA operating times are weekdays from 09:00 to 16:00, Saturdays 08:30 - 12:00 and every second and fourth Sunday between 10:00 and 12:00.
