ONE of the various firsts at this year’s SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees will be the Flight Night motorcycle and light show.

Monster Energy has chosen the popular Wildsfees as its first venue in the Eastern Cape to present this show.

International bikers will be defying gravity on a purpose-built set on Saturday night only. It will be a spectacle night-time performance of motorcycle tricks, jumps and stunts accompanied by electrifying lighting, smoke machines and fascinating fire throwing.

There will be several test runs on Friday (15:30) and Saturday (14:00) to give festivalgoers a preview of the spectacular show. The Flight Night is for one night only on Saturday, 29th June at 21:30.

The SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees offers hours of non-stop live music from the biggest stage in the Eastern Cape as well as the biggest new car show in the Eastern Cape, the EC’s premier game auction, the only beach bar in the Karoo, the country’s longest running Koedoedrolverspoeg-kompetisie and lots more. Visit www.wildsvees.co.za to see the full programme.

) In building up towards the Wildsfees and the excitement of this Flight Night, the UD Express on a weekly basis is giving away exclusive Monster Energy hampers as well as two sets of Kirkwood Wildsfees weekend passes for two. Owing to the popularity of the competition Monster Energy has increased the total of hampers to six. To enter simply visit the UD Express Facebook and follow the competition instructions. The first three winners of Monster Energy hampers are: Lucas Stoltz, Odette Grundlingh and Fatima Master. -REPORTER
