Time for U’hage High past pupils’ gala evening

2016-09-22 06:00

The Uitenhage High Past Pupils and Teachers Association (UHPPTA) will be hosting its annual gala dinner and dance this Saturday, 24 September 2016, at the VW People Pavilion.

The event starts at 19:00 and a limited number of tickets at R200 per person are still available.

The irrepressible “T-Bozz” will ensure that patrons enjoy non-stop and unforgettable entertainment on the evening.

It is expected that alumni from all corners of the globe will be descending on Uitenhage in their droves to reminisce about their time spent at the iconic Uitenhage High School.

UHPPTA is a registered non-profit organisation with the express objective of assisting the school and all its stakeholders in pursuit of excellence in education.

Those in attendance will also be updated on previous, as well as future UHPPTA activities, with the spotlight undoubtedly falling on its Bursary Scheme and its flagship project – the building of a School Hall.

Professor Cecil Arnolds, a former learner, will be the keynote speaker.

Prof Arnolds is currently heading the Research Division of the NMMU Business School. He was recently promoted as Head of Department at the Business School.
