UD News ‘family’ expands to Q’town

2016-02-11 06:00

Last Thursday saw another proud moment in the history of EP Media, with the first publication of its brand-new free local newspaper the Queenstown Express.

Making this an even more significant milestone for Media24’s EP Media, of which the UD News is one of its publications, is investing in a print edition at a time when print media are increasingly under pressure globally.

Queenstown Express is distributed to 20 000 homes in Queenstown every Thursday. The content of the newspaper is hyperlocal and gives the people of the Queenstown community a voice and platform.

EP Media is part of Media24 and publishes seven local newspapers throughout the Eastern Cape with more than 300 000 free copies delivered to households every week. These newspapers are:

UD News/Nuus, Port Elizabeth Express, Express Indaba, Kouga Express, Mthatha Express, Isolomzi Express and UvoLwethu Express.
