10 hurt in Western Cape accident

Johannesburg - Ten people were injured when a van and truck collided on the N1 near Klapmuts, Western Cape, paramedics said on Saturday.

Paramedics found both damaged vehicles in the middle of the road, said ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.

Paramedics treated the injured before transporting them to various hospitals, he said.

Metro services had closed one of the lanes causing heavy delays.

The cause of the collision was not known.
