11 injured in Sasolburg factory explosion

Johannesburg – Eleven people have been injured after an explosion at a factory in Sasolburg, Free State, paramedics said on Monday.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said paramedics arrived at the factory at 08:00, to find it had already been evacuated.

One man had sustained moderate injuries while 10 others had sustained minor injuries, according to Meiring.

They were transported to the medical centre.

Meiring could not confirm the cause of the explosion, or what kind of explosion it was.
