Mbombela – Two bodies were discovered near the N4 highway in Emalahleni, Mpumalanga, on Wednesday.

Police spokesperson Brigadier Leonard Hlathi said a suspect had been arrested on charges of murder.

"We discovered two bodies, but we cannot yet confirm their identities," Hlathi told News24.

"We still have the bodies and we are still investigating. I will only be able to give confirmation once a post-mortem and DNA tests have been concluded."

Two children were recently abducted from their home in Vosman, also in Emalahleni, in the early hours of January 28.

Officers launched a manhunt after three armed men broke into the home and abducted a 13-year-old girl and a one-year-old baby.
