Bloemfontein - Two people have died after a minibus taxi rolled on the R26, 20km outside Villiers in the Free State, paramedics said on Monday.

"Upon arrival by paramedics, one of the 14 occupants had already died on the scene due to the extensive injuries that he had sustained, while a woman passenger was in a critical condition," said ER24 spokesperson Vanessa Jackson.

The woman's condition deteriorated and she was later declared dead on the scene.
