Johannesburg - Two people were arrested in connection with the murder of a man in Kempton Park, Ekurhuleni, police said on Saturday.

The pair, aged 34 and 37, were arrested in Bronkhorspruit on Friday night after they were spotted driving the 46-year-old deceased man's car, said captain Jethro Mtshali.

The man was found naked in his room at his house in Bredell, with his genitals bruised.

It was believed he was strangled as there were scars around his neck.

"His clothing, cellphone, laptop, wallet and the victim's Mazda 3 were stolen by the suspects," said Mtshali.

The two are due to appear in the Bronkhorspruit Magistrate's Court soon for possession of the stolen vehicle.

They would also appear in the Kempton Park Magistrate's Court facing charges of murder and housebreaking.
