2 killed, 1 critically injured in Vanderbijlpark rollover

Cape Town – Two people were killed and a third was critically injured when their car rolled near North West University's Vaal Triangle campus in Vanderbijlpark on Friday night.

Paramedics found a woman lying 30m from the crumpled vehicle. She was dead, said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.

A man in the driver's seat was taken out of the vehicle. He was severely injured and died on the scene.

Another man was found near the car and may have been ejected during the crash, she said.

He was critically injured and was airlifted to hospital.

The crash is being investigated.
